The street is both the stage upon which the drama unfolds&bottom line metaphor for what is presumed to be happening in our society today.
Covering a wide range of streets in terms of Fashion and encountered a plethora of emotions.
Artistic trends,lifestyle,colors etc tend to originate from the street mostly refering to the bubble up theory.
This documentary is an attempt from my side to follow my research about street fashion in an unconventional way and kind of my own version of trend development on the exuberant and varied streets of London where each was different from the other in more ways than one ;hinting at the different lifestyle of people hereby reffering to a kind of story of people who are my target audience.
Thus wandering on the streets of London in complete awe of the Fashion scene began my journey.

Start Of my Major Project

In continuation with my research project on street style I was really inspired by the clothes worn by people on street Of London and not just that but the various combination of clothing,layering,the way they accessorized their stuff which seemed very interesting.I began by clicking pictures of people on street the way i liked it for the start.I travelled from different streets in London with my digicam, handy cam for capturing movie of the people. Each street had different set of people ,the ambience and feel as well as the segmentation of each street was varied for example south kensington consisted o f people who were more cultural in their perspective, Camden town gave the reflection of goth and punk era,Brick Lane was more cultural kind of place with people of artistic background.So capturing the different streets with different set of people was very intriguing.

Technology Process

New Project on technology

Again a technology project !!
yes but this time we could negotiate the brief with our tutor.
the prerequistes were we should propose a project which enables us to experiment and take risk .

After my not so good experience with my last group project ..This time again to my surprise i thought of working in a group project with Tanvi &Nibha guess i wanted to prove a point that i have the ability to take risk ,show my skills as a group member& come up with better results this time.

So we had brainstormed on a quite a few things
related to technology in fashion and came with some interesting results ;after which v narrowed down to Materials and basically focussing on ways of joining fabrics without stitching.
We started doing the research through various books on materials,Techno Fashion etc which has really helped me broaden my horizon of knowledge.
I also tried to contact various companies dealing in different technologies we had studied in our research like Laser fusing and welding but we had the limitation regarding resources and time .

To help gather more information we even went to Central St Martins material library where we did manage to get some information.Interestingly there was an exhibition of BA Textiles work where they had used different yarns&weaves to get innovative fabric even digital prints which was a delight to watch.I had never looked at textiles so deeply thinking im a Fashion designer but this was great experience altogether &might be useful when i would be doing my final project in the end.
