Exploration 3

I bought a one piece dress which i tried to transform into different design styles. This design exploration also gave me ideas about design details like button, buttonhole and also like patchwork and style lines which can give me different look in terms of different fabric options because earlier i was looking into using just knit based fabric which gives good drapery properties but now i might look into different fabrics.

Exploration 2

Analysis: I have combined the two shirts shown below and stitched some portions of them together and then done the explorations.I have also tried to incorporate like a detachable pocket by the left over portion of the shirt and some other details along with it. The only limitation I feel is since I am making my design explorations from already existing garments as some points I do get restricted due to either the predetermined silhouette or the less fabric in it but in this exploration I have tried to lessen the restriction by combining two shirts.

Exploration 1

I bought a black checked green colored lower from the market and started exploring it on the dummy for various design options.I had purposely taken a green color for some of my statue visuals having green in them & then a check just to see how my designs would look if its not a plain garment.I found that some little print would look nice but I somehow found at some points in my exploration the checks were a hindrance as some of the design details were not so clear which could also be due to its combination with a black colored fabric.I need to explore more to come with some concrete ideas.

Not at all satisfied with my assessment

The feedback I got from the submative assessment I wasn't happy with that at all due to various reasons. Firstly was that earlier assessment I got the same grade where I had shown less quantity & quality of work but it was stated that I had shown tremendous improvement from the earlier but when it came to assessment I couldn't see it.Anyways now I would like to take the feedback for my work in a manner that would help me come in with good work for the final assessment in July.
