

In this project the brief given to us was that we had to present an existing fashion in multisensory format .Combine image with the sensory areas like touch,sound,sight etc to create a radical display.So since it was meant to be a group project with people from different disciplines working together we all in a group started brainstorming on it and came with various ideas such as Window display,popup book,film etc..We all decided to go with the idea of Window display.Furthermore in window display when we did a research we had found that Its mostly static,mannequin etc To which we all were in accordance with our tutor Davina did a mind map of the idea of mannequin to which we had found some interesting results. But now we had to think of technology and how we could incorporate the virtual element into it.So i started researching on the new technologies particularly those used in window displays such as touch screens etc So further in my research i had found out a technology called Whispering Windows which emits music/messaged through the window,creatinga unique way to deliver sales and market messages throughout the store. Inbetween there was a meet with Ogilvy Action;on the same day we were suppose to have our tutorial but knowing my interest in Promotion plus my interest in Ogilvy as one of best in advertising i decided that i would do the work for my tutorial but couldnt go coz it was same time due to which there wasa huge misunderstanding infact i was put off when I was told by Gayeon that im not a part of group anymore i can do what i feel like,,so somehow after this incident i lost the spirit in the project even if i came up with any ideas/thoughts they werent even considered.So i still tried my best to stick to group &deliver whatever was asked from me. Also in terms of client or market since Gayeon &Mashail were keen on COS brand so we decided to follow their collection in their stores mainly Covent garden.After going through their website &product catalogue And doing a fair amount of research on it I came to the conclusion that its about essentials,reinvented classics &latest trends; consists of mix of customers in the store.It is brand between high fashion &high street.Then i did research on different body movements and came up with designs to how to display &use shadows /symbols in window display.
